Customer Strategy and Planning is an enhanced Internal Sales function, combining Customer and Channel Development (CCD), Category Management, Insights, NRM Channel and Shopper Marketing. Its primary goal is to deliver the commercial plan through developing and deploying Category Growth Strategies from Global Nutrition Business Group to Market.

You will join the CSP Team (Customer, Strategy and Planning) for Nutrition in France. Our brands in France in Nutrition are Amora, Maille, Tabasco, Knorr and Maizena operating on Scratch Cooking and Dressing categories.

You will oversee performance analysis on the Nutrition perimeter and strengthen the operational performance of our brands

YOUR MISSIONS 

Net Revenue Management (PRGM):

  • Owner of 5 NRM Levers (Price, Pack Architecture, Mix Management, Promo, TTS)
  • Diagnostic of our current portfolio and recommendation of adaptation of these 5 levers (pricing, mix management, Pack price architecture by channel)
  • Quaterly reporting to Europe Business Unit
  • Profit pool identification and optimization management
  • Spreading NRM culture

Strategy & business performance:

  • Scale market opportunities and define NPD target
  • Market analyses and knowledge to drive business decision-making: white space analysis, monitoring competition and consumer trend
  • Targets, Budgets and Business Reviews. 
  • Portfolio strategy: Design 3year innovation based on market data

Operational excellence of our sales forecasts:

  • Guarantee of the accuracy of the sales forecasts:
  • On the current portfolio with the Supply Chain via the analysis of our past performance and biases, market trends, and the news of our marketing and trade projects.
  • On our innovations launched and to come, by being a key support of the marketing teams on building the business cases. Make sure their goals are achievable and track their performance after launch.

Management of 2 performance analysts

  • Management of the 2 performance analysts (one for Dressing and one for Scratch Cooking Aids)
  • Build and leverage their skills
  • Accompany them in their key missions
    • Performance meeting ownership
    • Creation and optimization of automated performance reports

Main interactions:

  • Report to French CSP Nutrition Leader (Member of South European Nutrition Leadership Team)
  • Work on a variety of products and functions
  • You are at the crossroads of strategic decisions and work closely with management and all functions: product marketing, trade, finance, supply chain, CMI, Global Team
  • You will join an agile team, caring to make you grow

What profile are we looking for?

  • You studied in Business School, Engineering School, or University
  • You ideally benefit from a first significant experience in the field of retail or consumer products. and/or customer development (Category manager)
  • Knowledge of Panel Data or Finance experience could be a plus
  • You are recognized for your analytical skills and your ability to synthesize.
  • You are good in connecting dots and work with transversal teams
  • You are able to handle several projects in parallel, and manage retro planning
  • You are an organized, autonomous, and pro-active person, who wishes to grow in a caring and stimulating environment.
  • You are fluent in English (able to understand & present in English) and French
  • You master the office suite (excel, word, powerpoint).
