Global Procurement Assistant Manager – Decoration
Location: Rueil-Malmaison (France), Rotterdam (NL)

Purpose of the Job
As the Assistant Procurement Manager: Global Decoration, you will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of our portfolio strategy. Spanning across Unilever’s multiple categories, this role will be responsible for leading stakeholder engagements, both internal and external, in delivering against Unilever’s multiple programs and business goals.

Cost & Cash: Material Cost as a % of Turnover, Material Savings / Net Material Impact (NMI), Inflation mitigation, payment term extensions / reduction
Free Cash Flow: Strategic big bets delivery, Implementing Smart Buying tools
Partnership & Innovation: Operational Excellence: quality & service, resilience, spec sign-off, Responsible Sourcing Policy compliance, Quality compliance, Forecast Accuracy, etc.
Support and collaborate with the Decoration portfolio managers to develop and build a cohesive feedstock strategy including the support to increase the coverage of direct deals on feedstocks with convertors
Work with the Strategy & Insights team and Line Manager to establish “should cost” price benchmarks for self-adhesive labels and sleeves
Identify and propose cost reduction opportunities through the pillars of ZBB (Zero Based Budgeting), complexity reduction and price benchmarking
Support the resilience program implementation for the global suppliers, create contingency plans for key materials & suppliers
Deliver the sustainability ambition for decoration portfolio
What You’ll Need to succeed:
Ability to engage in a Cross functional team
Excellent analytical and IT skills: SAP, SAP CLM, Power Bi
Self-starter & independent operator
Bias for action and strong executor
Strong in holding people accountable and be fully accountable
Experience in working in a virtual team and regional/global scope
Understanding and experience of packaging manufacturing/procurement
Project management skills
Supply Market Intelligence and Analysis - Collecting Relevant Information: Analysing Supply and Demand
Knowledge and experience forecasting, planning processes, market operations, supply chains Driving sustainability through Procurement
International travel may be required as per job requirements
