CATEGORY OR FUNCTION INTRODUCTION: Engineering-Supply Chain
Main Job Purpose:
To manage the technical teams, responsible for maintaining equipment efficiency above 95% and optimizing the Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) to ensure efficient and reliable operations with min. downtime.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop & deploy Inspection and Preventive Maintenance plans to ensure optimal utilization and performance of ASRS equipment’s.
Supervise and ensure maintenance and troubleshooting of ASRS equipment’s in compliance with the Unilever Safety & UMS standards.
Monitor & maintain the Critical Spares for ASRS equipment’s to avoid any system downtime.
Diagnose Mechanical, Electrical & Software related issues. Maintain the history of error logs.
Implementing Kaizens to reduce frequent downtimes & response times of attending errors & breakdowns.
Prepare and manage the maintenance budget for ASRS. Cost control in accordance with the approved budget.
Digital dashboard development & analysis of KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators) for ASRS Equipment’s & Customer Service operations.
Maintain system throughput above 95% in line with the design.
Knowledge & ability to operate WMS System.
Maintaining the overall infrastructure of the ASRS building & its utilities.
Create and implement plans to improve ASRS infrastructure needs, including energy efficiency, system reliability, and service contracts.
Ensuring Safe execution of troubleshooting & maintenance activities of Rack & ASRS Equipment’s. Ensuring compliance with SOPs for all the routine works.
Coach and develop the technical team on ASRS-related issues and technologies.
Implementation of innovations and upgrades to the ASRS, in alignment with industry standards and technological advancements.
Manage projects and budgets related to ASRS maintenance and upgrades.
Collaborate with Logistics Operations managers & Service team for smooth & on time delivery.
Develop & maintain efficient processes and adopt best practices worldwide.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
EXPERIENCES AND QUALIFICATIONS
Qualification: Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics Engineering. • Strong knowledge of ASRS technology, Maintenance practices & WMS. • MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Power BI) • Excellent problem-solving, analytical and project management skills. • Ability to lead and develop technical teams
Minimum of 5 years of experience in ASRS maintenance or a related field. • Experience in managing technical teams and maintenance projects
