COUNTRY PEOPLE EXPERIENCE LEAD for Unilever Sweden
The People Experience Lead team is the primary contact for all Unilever line managers and employees for a better experience through key employee moments such as on-boarding, role moves, time off etc. They work with various teams within the HR network to enable a smooth end-to-end employee experience for employees' day-to-day HR needs.
As a Country People Experience Lead you act as a key partner in implementing employee relations strategies, contributing to creating a positive work environment. You are responsible for ensuring that employee policies, practices and programs are consistently applied across the company and play a key part in knowledge management.
This role is temporary, for approximately 12 months to cover maternity leave.
What you will be doing?
You will be responsible for developing this team and ensuring they are motivated and able to deliver an excellent service. You set strategic goals and translate global objectives and strategies to local ways of working and long-term success, you’re not afraid of leading and implementing system- and process improvements to optimize the service to the business, and you’re excited by the opportunity to lead a team.
You will work closely together with the wider Nordic HR team, Payroll, Reward and Global Mobility and provide support and expertise to recommend actions to resolve matters and get results. Furthermore, you will be running your own small team.
You deliver a great employee and line manager experience everyday by
Ensuring and driving employee policies, practices, and programs applied across the team and organization
Pro-actively guiding and partnering with business leaders to identify the long-term HR People Experience Strategy, needs and objectives
Creating better everyday practices and employee experience
Contributing to the implementation of business-critical projects such as HR (organizational) changes and HR projects on i.e. Health and Wellbeing & IR/ER related topics, together with the HRBP’s and HR leadership team
Acting as a coach for your team in helping them to grow and develop their talent and ensuring a solid capability and succession plan
What You’ll Need to Succeed?
3-5 years’ experience in a similar role as an HR generalist or HR specialist, including strong background in employee relations, industrial relations and case management
Have the ability to build and lead a team of HR professionals and have proven experience as a team manager
Comprehensive knowledge of Swedish employment law and regulations required
Superior interpersonal & communication skills and fluent in verbal and written Swedish and English
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to focus with a comfort in maintaining multiple priorities and deadline
Comfortable using digital tools and technology
