As an autonomous company in its own right, the joint venture has its own board of directors (50% UL and 50% PEP) and global leadership team. The Marketing Manager will lead North Asia Cluster’s Disruptive Challenger strategy development and execution in collaboration with internal cross-functional teams, extended bottler teams and partner agencies.

Key Accountabilities of this role include...

  • Lead in Driving a Disruptive Challenger Strategy in North Asia covering Taiwan, South Korea and Japan with Potential White Space Markets
  • Lead and Deliver Communication/Brand Engagement Strategy, Assets and Media Planning/Executions for Taiwan and South Korea 
  • Lead end-to-end Innovation Pipeline Development for North Asia
  • Lead 6P performance reviews in partnership with Business Development Manager, CMI, Digi hub
  • Lead in Driving Business Alignment in AOPs & Joint Business Planning with North Asian Bottlers
  • Lead Budget Management for Regional Initiatives sitting in Local P&Ls in partnership with Local Business Development Managers who are the Local Budget Holders

Lead in Driving internal alignment with Global Team to build a locally relevant global brand in North Asia

Key Skills Required

  • A real passion for crafting outstanding and unexpected (digital) comms based on deep consumer insights with clear evidence of delivery in current role
  • Strong experience in both original local (Taiwan) & regional Marketing digital comms development for Equity-Building & New Products
  • Good strategic thinker, with business acumen and ability to partner with both junior and senior level executives
  • Proven ability to manage a matrix org (cross-functional / cross-border) with multiple levels of alignment
  • Experience of working in Taiwan & North Asia with different agencies /stakeholders of different cultures
  • MUST fluent in both Chinese and English (Speak/Write/Listen)

  • Ability to overcome challenges to deliver on time with limited resources independently 
  • Driven to lead junior BDs and cross-functional team by influencing
