We are looking to have an experienced Demand Fulfilment Manager join our team at Tatura. You will lead the overall demand and supply planning process to meet service and inventory levels. One of your key responsibilities will be to deliver Supply Chain and Category targets while meeting service levels by maintaining desired inventory levels. You will be joining a world leading FMCG organisation and be part of an exciting team.

What your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead business reviews and meetings for relevant categories.
  • Represent Supply Chain in Innovation Board (gate keeping), IBP (Category Strategy), GM Review, Portfolio Review, Sourcing discussions, etc.
  • Make decisions on Inventory Norms, Pre-Builds, De-risk plans, Sourcing decisions, etc.
  • Collaborate with business teams and make informed trade-offs based on market priorities (such as innovations, big bets, customer strategy).
  • Lead Crisis Management collaborations and make decisions on stock allocation, fast track options and SKU priority.
  • Responsible for Long term planning input, Alignment to business and finance plans
  • Collaborate with – Innovation for key projects, Sales for waste liquidation
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Trade and finance category estimate volumes of regular items, innovations and offerings by region sales and distribution channel, Local brand building
  • Highlight risks and opportunities, alignment with Top down sales volume
  • Ensure updated and agreed volume forecast are submitted and aligned with financial forecasting
  • Participate in the relevant S&OP meetings and provide commentary for LT meetings.
  • Waste management: Control level of inventories of discontinued products. Collaborate with Category & Customer teams on liquidation plans.

What you will bring:

  • A thorough knowledge of supply and demand planning issues.
  • The communications skills to interface with & influence a range of internal stakeholders.
  • Analytical/ problem solving capabilities.
  • Apply effective leadership strategies
  • Can demonstrate substantial experience in supply chain management.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain or a related discipline is highly desirable
  • People Management experience
  • Advanced planning and scheduling software experience and expertise with computer-based, ERP systems, preferably SAP.
