Your  Role:  

The Sales Analyst will focus on supporting the General Manager and ekaterra Canada Retail and Out-Of-Home TEAms. This role will provide proactive analysis of ekaterra and competitive business trends leveraging internal and syndicated tools.  Utilizing data analysis, this role will help identify opportunities, and minimize potential risks to the existing business.  Where applicable, the Sales Analyst will also assist with retailer specific data systems.  Additionally, this role will support our broker managed accounts as needed. 

YourKey Tasks: 

  • Support daily / monthly customer specific reporting needs

  • Provide analytics to help improve forecast and drive S&OP process

  • Promotional ROI analysis to drive trade efficiency

  • Publish total Canada daily sales Retail and OOH reports

  • Maintain monthly / quarterly business review templates for top Retail & OOH Customers

  • Support Customer business Managers with deal sheets, product listing form and ad tracking

Stakeholder Management and key interfaces:

  • Reporting and presentations to Senior Leadership

  • Support Sales Team across Retail & OOH

  • As needed, collaborate with US based Customer & Channel Sales Development Team

  • Interact with Broker Sales Team (i.e. Advantage Waypoint)

  • Work collaboratively with the entire Canadian cross functional team

Skills and Experience:

  • Syndicated data tools such as Nielsen and customer POS tools

  • Internal sales reporting tools (SAP / Merlin / SSAS)

  • Advanced Excel skills (database tools a plus)

  • CPG analysis and / or sales experience a plus

  • Experience preparing and presenting action-oriented analytics

Who we are looking for: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing preferred

  • Excellent Excel & Power Point skills

  • Familiarity with Nielsen and Merlin/SSAS is preferred

  • Customer management, category, space planning, or analytics background is a plus

  • Breakthrough thinking with the ability to work independently and deliver results

  • Problem solver that will need to exercise good judgment and routinely make decisions to support the day-to-day business

  • Organizational awareness with the ability to reach out to many different levels of the organization to solve problems and gather information for decision making

  • Good at managing priorities and has a great sense of pro-activity
