Special Packs, Displayers & e-Commerce Planning Intern

Internship Duration: 1 Year

Accountability & Objective:

Planning is deciding in advance what to do, how to do it, when to do it, and who should do it. This bridges the gap from where the organization is to where it wants to be. The planning function involves establishing goals and arranging them in logical order. This position is responsible to identify & drive efficiencies in planning of Special Packs & Displayers at Unilever Canada. The candidate will also play an integral role in the set up and execution of products in the e-Commerce space, where there is a requirement for packaging customization for the products to be e-Commerce ready. The role requires a high degree of people collaboration with many functions and locations across Unilever NA and deep understanding the inter relationship between functions and how that feed into the overall business objectives.

Job Summary:

  • Identify & drive efficiencies in Special Packs & Displayers planning
  • Develop & execute projects in the e-Commerce space
  • Manage the capacity at the third-party manufacturer across categories
  • Partner with the SP&D Project Lead, In-Store Visibility team, Sales, Category Planning, Customer & third-party manufacturer to delivery on Customer requirements.
  • Champion the business waste reduction agenda at the third-party manufacturer


  • Service Level delivery
  • Working Capital (NFG &FG) & Business Waste (Obsolete WIP stock & components)
  • Capacity management at third-party manufacturer
  • E-Commerce projects delivery & execution of portfolio


Bachelor’s degree with focus in an analytical discipline required (eg. Logistics, applied sciences, computer science, math, statistics, economics, engineering)

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of planning (APO & Kinaxis Rapid Response) and O2C (SAP) systems is a plus.
