Main Duties and Responsibilities:

The main job of category person is to drive category growth by being the best at delighting shoppers along the path to purchase, wherever they shop.

  • Develop category activities plan through shopper insights, analytics, and opportunity/white space identification to deliver category plan.
  • Develop and lead in execution of brand/category solutions with integrating shoppers and customers/ channel insights.
  • Input into innovation/renovation business case such as pack size by channel, pricing, distribution target & trade margin.
  • Promotion guideline in-line with strategy and positioning for customers and channel 
  • Being as customers/ shoppers’ lens to provide feedback to brand JTBD

Skills and Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate needs good interpersonal skills, good time management and task prioritization skills with strong data analytics and critical thinking.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in sales/marketing or business.
  • Minimum 2 years working experience in Sales Force/Marketing in FMCG Industry.
  • Excellence of communication in English both written and spoken.
  • Excellence of operating computer such as Excel, Data Analysis, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • A generalist with learning and experience in the below field (but not a requirement): business administration, management, marketing, sales.
