JOB PURPOSE:

As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking a highly skilled IT Security Architect to join our dynamic team. The IT Security Architect is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the security architecture of the organization's IT infrastructure. This role ensures that the company's digital assets are protected from cyber threats and that security measures are integrated into all aspects of the IT environment. The role is part of the Enterprise Architecture team. The newly created Ice Cream Technology function will drive the technology set-up, standalone design and implementation of all required technology capabilities to enable Unilever’s Ice Cream business to become a fully functioning standalone company, separate from Unilever. The IT Security Architect is therefore overseeing that the IT infrastructure and applications are built and set up with strong adherence to security standards and guidelines and incorporate state of the art security measures into their design and operations. This role will work closely across all technology and data teams and collaborate strongly with the Cybersecurity team. The successful candidate will be one that has significant IT expertise with a proven record of leading large-scale transformations and has a passion for building world class IT security standards, environments and E2E tech architecture that make a meaningful impact.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Design and Implementation: Develop and implement security architectures and solutions to protect the organization's IT systems and data.

2. Risk Assessment: Conduct regular security risk assessments and vulnerability assessments to identify potential threats and weaknesses.

3. Policy Development: Create and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices. 4. Incident Response: Lead the response to security incidents, including investigation, mitigation, and reporting.

5. Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams, developers, and other stakeholders to integrate security into all stages of the software development lifecycle. 6. Monitoring and Analysis: Implement and manage security monitoring tools to detect and respond to security breaches and anomalies. Confidential

7. Training and Awareness: Provide security training and awareness programs for employees to promote a culture of security within the organization.

8. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of security architectures, policies, procedures, and incident reports.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Education: Degree in Information Technology, experience in Enterprise Architecture

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT security, with a focus on security architecture and design.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, encryption, and identity management solutions.

• Knowledge: In-depth understanding of security frameworks (e.g., ISO….) and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, …).

• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address security challenges.

• Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Leadership: Proven ability to lead security initiatives and manage cross functional teams.
