MAIN FOCUS OF THE POSITION
Home Care Poland & Baltics Head of Customer Strategy & Planning is a Sales representant in a Division represented by Country Category Business Team and is a part of Home Care Poland and Baltics Leadership Team.
The role has an end-to-end trade responsibility including but not limited to:
Channel strategy and category channel and customer plans
Promotional strategy and tools
Execution in cooperation with Sales
Driving strategic and tactical choices between channels and customers for the future and for current year (or half-of-year).
Aligning then committing an executable annual plan. Defining the criteria of perfect execution by channel and preparing channel category Jobs-To-be-Done.
Assure that the shopper voice is included in the planning and execution process. Provides strong leadership and drives team’s capability building in order to empower their team to drive channels/category independently.
Holds their team accountable to create and to execute and evaluate category plans on channel/instore level within budget.
Driving and executing relevant internal processes, especially Sales & Operational Planning.
Strategic choices and decisions on category strategy and NRM on channel and customer level.
Prepares, aligns and implements Category and Channel strategy.
Owner of S&OP short term operational forecast.
Owner of Promotional Budget, manages Promotional Budget as part of the performance cycle, highlighting issues and corrective actions.
Owner of Marketing Trade budget, manages budget, plans consumer activations, repacking and other activities in line with the budget.
Business delivery and corrective steps to deliver top line and bottom line.
External face to customers, especially on partner days, during category management (Range Reset), customer events, workshops, etc.
Responsible for relevant input to assortment and shelf management on channel and customer level.
Represents the customer, the shopper and the Sales function in annual planning process (Integrated Business Plan) and works as part of Home Care Poland and Baltics team to create the integrated long term plan for the category in channels, identifies KPIs and actions for the following year/period.
Ensures strong customer input early in the funnel; acts as the voice of the customer in market deployment decisions.
Ensures customer innovation launch plans are optimal, prepared launch plans on channel and customer level, signs off Business Cases and makes sure targets are delivered.
Ensures relevant shopper knowledge embedded into plans.
Defines the channel and activity priorities and follows up with sales.
Provides clarity to the Sales Team and focuses on the activity plan.
Responsible for gap filling proposals.
Aligns POP strategy with company strategy.
Sets the Promo Strategy & guidelines, cooperates with Net Revenue Management, communicates to Sales.
Prepares conclusions from evaluations, actions from insights and communicates to Sales and Marketing.
Proposes customer & channel targets for topline and Promotional Budget spent.
