Assistant Manager - Process & Technology

Procurement technology team, which enables the function withcutting edgetech solutions manages 15+ platforms and engages multiple stakeholders viz. strategy and insights, supplier ops, BG/BUsand CDIO teams.  

The role is focused at delivering digital transformation and value delivery for a range of IT products under the Procurement function. 

Roles & Responsibilities

Technology Transformation:

• Deliverkey digital transformationprogramsempoweringProcurement, Supplier Ops, and GBSfunctionto meet strategicobjectives.Drive the implementationand ongoing managementofdigital tools to enhance efficiencies.Additionally,leveragetheknowledge ofAI todrive business benefits. 

• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture for end-to-end technology strategy&selection.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignmentwith businessobjectives.

Technology Delivery:

• Overseeing the planning, solutioning & execution, and completion of Technology Deliveryincludingsetting timelines, managing budgets, and ensuring that project goals are met.

• Leadthe design thinking ensuringsolution fitment, longevity,resilienceand ROI.

• Managetechnology re-platforming, consolidation, andRFP initiatives.

Product Partnership:

• Work closely with the product vendors on the Technology roadmaps for Product gaps,innovationand/or customization requirements

Vendor Management: 

• Establishing andmaintaininga strong relationship with the SI Vendor,leveragingvendor capabilities to land solution on time in full

Stakeholder Management:

• Engage with key stakeholders toevangelize tech usage and fitment to value delivery

Change Management: 

• Work closely with the change management teams to develop a change management strategy and in landing the solution within the Markets/Hubs

Risk Management:

• Identifypotential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.

• Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions as needed.

Experience and qualificationsrequired:

• Minimum of4-5years of experience in business partnering, tech solution andITdelivery  

• Technology expertise/working knowledgeof 

• Must Have:Understanding of Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes.

• Must Have:Adeptattransforming complex technical concepts into compelling business value narratives.

• Must Have:Experience working with Azure eco-systemand cloud native application architecture.

• Must Have:Skilled in API integrationand tool orchestration for enterprise applications.

• Strong stakeholdermanagement skills with experience presenting prototypes and roadmaps to leadership.

• Proficiencyin project management tools and methodologies.

• Ability to lead and inspire a team in a dynamic environment.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
