Job Title : Personal Care Indonesia Assistant R&D Oral Care Manager

Location : Rungkut Factory - Surabaya, East Java

The Assistant Manager – BU Oral R&D will play a pivotal role in supporting the research and development function for the Oral Care Business Unit. This position is primarily responsible for innovation deployment project management, providing technical and strategic post-launch R&D support, and leveraging consumer and competitive insights to enhance product development and market success.


Main Responsibilities :

  • Innovation Project Management - Coordinate cross-functional innovation projects for local deployment. Ensure project milestones, timelines, and deliverables are met, proactively managing risks and communicating progress to stakeholders.

  • R&D Support on Post Launch Activation - Provide scientific and technical support for new product launches, collaborating with marketing, sales, and manufacturing teams to ensure successful activation and sustained product performance in the market.

  • Consumer Market Insight - Gather, analyze, and interpret consumer data and feedback to identify unmet needs, trends, and opportunities. Translate insights into actionable recommendations for product improvement and innovation.

  • Competitor Intelligence - Monitor and analyze competitor activities, product launches, and market strategies. Provide timely reports and strategic input to guide R&D and business decisions, ensuring the BU Oral portfolio maintains a competitive edge.

  • Product Test and Validation - Follow up, coordinate, and oversee product testing and validation activities, ensuring products meet internal and regulatory standards for safety, efficacy, and quality.

  • Implement value improvement programs aimed at enhancing product quality, reducing costs, and increasing operational efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, develop action plans, and monitor progress to ensure sustainable improvements.
