What Will Your Main Responsibilities Be
1. Safety & Compliance:
• Enforce strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards across all production activities.
• Conduct regular risk assessments, safety audits, and ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly.
• Promote a safety-first culture through training, awareness programs, and incident reporting.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations (HACCP, GMP, ISO) and maintain hygiene standards throughout the production process.
• Investigate accidents or near misses and implement preventive measures.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and safe operation of machinery.
2. Quality Assurance & Food Safety:
• Guarantee compliance with HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, and other food safety standards.
• Oversee quality control processes to ensure products meet specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Implement quality monitoring systems and ensure proper documentation for traceability.
• Drive continuous improvement in quality standards and reduce non-conformance.
• Collaborate with QA teams to resolve quality issues promptly and prevent recurrence.
• Ensure allergen management, sanitation, and hygiene protocols are strictly followed.
3. Production Planning & Control:
• Develop and implement production schedules to meet demand and minimize downtime.
• Monitor production KPIs (output, efficiency, waste, etc.) and take corrective actions when needed.
4. Team Management:
• Lead, train, and motivate production staff to achieve performance targets.
• Manage workforce planning, shift scheduling, and resolve operational issues.
5. Process Optimization:
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, efficiency improvement, and waste minimization.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
6. Maintenance Coordination:
• Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure equipment reliability and minimize breakdowns.

Experiences & Qualifications

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Production or Industrial Engineering.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in food manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and occupational safety standards (HACCP, GMP, ISO, OSHA).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in production planning tools and ERP systems.
