Senior Quality Executive

Main Job Purpose

Site Quality Lead is to assist with the quality assurance processes to the business in order to ensure that products produced by the company are fit for use by the consumers according to Company’s specifications, regulatory standard and ISO standard.

Quality in Enterprise

• Raises awareness of business implications of both increasing satisfaction and reducing dissatisfaction of customer / consumer among cross functional team.

Quality Planning

• Develops and maintains the Company Quality Assurance and Control.
• Support validation of Company and regulatory Quality requirements when products or processes change.
• Develops specific training materials & events and conducts training (as needed)
• Ensures Quality team has a level of required skills and knowledge as appropriate to support site quality programs.
• Identifies where learning opportunities can be used to close skill gaps or raise level of skills and knowledge.

Quality in Operations

• Prepares and updates work instructions, Quality and HACCP Plans based on Factory Quality Management System and Establish of the Quality System for assigned factories.
• Lead in the conduct of factory training of these procedures to ensure that these are understood, implemented, and aligned current Unilever standard.
• Lead Factory Mock Recall activity and improve the traceability practice of the factory.
• Provides technical support in the conduct of product quality investigation.
• Drives factory Quality Operational Reviews and supports implementation of corrective actions to meet recommendations.
• Puts in place, validates, and verifies prerequisite programs for risk mitigation (e.g cleaning, pest control, housekeeping, etc.)
• Supports development protocols, methods, equipment & limits used for maintenance, inspection, sampling, testing or monitoring (in line, on line and off line) for manufacturing processes and products.
• Assesses and approve equipment and process changes in factory for adverse effects on product quality.
• Lead QC team from assigned factories to set up QC procedures in the factories.

Quality Improvement

• Defines relevant KPIs, builds scorecards & reports for Quality KPIs and other metrics
• Monitors and reports Quality KPIs and provides data aggregation and analysis as needed at the appropriate level.
• Uses data analysis and IT tools, relevant statistical techniques to identify trends and understand (Quality) performance movement and highlight areas for improvement.
• Leads improvements in Innovation processes in order to reduce Quality losses and improve speed to market.

Job Requirements

• University degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent industrial experience. Preferred Zoology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Food Science or Microbiology degree.
• 3 - 5 years’ experience in Quality, Manufacturing or R&D. 3 years of Manufacturing Site Experience and Safety Experience.
• Excellent knowledge and experiences in Supply Chain Operations of Manufacturing Industry and Engineering Experience.
• Understanding of Quality Management System (ISO 9001) and knowledge of HACCP, GMP.
• Influencing skills. Good observation and auditing skills.
• Proven track record of analytical thinking and project management.
• Must be stayed at Mandalay location as long-term period.
