Job Purpose

In this position, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality statutory reporting in line with the latest local accounting standards. You will act as a trusted expert in accounting, guiding the team and the wider business to stay compliant with both local and global standards.

You will also serve as the main point of contact for external auditors, ensuring smooth collaboration and successful audit outcomes. Beyond compliance, you will help strengthen our financial systems, safeguard data integrity, and drive improvements that make our operations more effective and efficient.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead statutory reporting in accordance with current local accounting standards

  • Provide expert guidance on accounting practices and standards

  • Ensure compliance with both global and local accounting requirements

  • Act as the primary liaison for external audit fieldwork, ensuring successful outcomes with no deficiencies

  • Safeguard the integrity of financial systems and operating models, aligned with best accounting practices and audit requirements

  • Identify key issues and implement effective solutions through right procedures

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners

  • Continuously seek opportunities to simplify processes and improve operational effectiveness

  • Support new corporate projects, ensuring financial accounting impacts are well managed

  • Escalate and provide support to the Operating Center in matters related to Lease accounting, ensuring compliance and smooth resolution of issues


Experiences & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree: Finance and Accounting.

  • Strong Financial Accounting skills with proven knowledge of IFRS and PSAK.

  • Prior experience in a Public Accounting Firm, with a minimum level of Senior Associate

  • Experience working with large complex data from multiple sources.

  • Experience managing local, regional, and global stakeholders.

  • Experience in presenting to and communicating with Finance and non-Finance stakeholders.

  • High degree of flexibility and ability to quickly understand new topics.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with other key stakeholders.

  • Strong engagement, presentation, and communication skills.

  • Ability to present complex information in a simplified manner.

  • Fluent in English both in reading & writing and willingness to learn quickly.

  • VP Finance, Financial Controller, GCAD, COMEX and Internal / External Auditors.
