JOB PURPOSE

This role exists towork under the leadership of the Engineering and Technology Manager (Process &Pack) andis responsible forleading and implementing innovation, savings, capacity, and others SC projects. This will include supporting the development of technology strategies and process & pack technology logicto build a transformation inDeosPC consumer needs.

The role will provide analytical support and leading in definingoptimumtechnology criteria for innovation, capacity and saving projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Facilitate/co-ordinate Process and Pack Technology support to agreed innovation projects (through diverse functional networks)facilitatingthe development of agreed common solutions when new machinery is required using Best Practice Tools and Processes (EEM,EMOC; Project Management).

  • Generate capital estimates and detailed trial and installation programmes for the process and pack technology areas with others regional teams as planning, R&D, etc

  • Develop New Process Technology solutions in response to Strategy assessing fit/impact with current operations.

  • Develop understanding of the machine/material interfaces, ensuringoptimumsolutions are delivered.

  • Work with key external partners / suppliers on the development of new process technology to support innovations.

  • For key raw materials, support R&D in the development for innovations, ensuring that all aspects of SC have been considered and optimised.

REQUIREDQUALIFICATIONS

Engineering degree educated or equivalent experience

  • Engineering degree educated or equivalentexperience

  • Good knowledge inconsumer finished goods

  • Good Knowledge in Project management

  • Intermediate English
