SHE Compliance Support Manager

Job description:
Responsibilities

• Lead to ensure that Legal Compliance Management & Tracking System and Manage & Coordinate all legal compliance tasks, including the implementation in all areas.
• Lead to ensure safety compliance with Unilever standard/program in all aspects such as the UMS (Unilever Management System) in scope of Safety, Health and Environment.
• Establish structure of compliance risk assessment to support UMS on Safety Pillar (OHS, PSM) and Environment Pillar.
• Develop and implement process to perform periodic audits both internal and external; SHEPAR, PCC, PSM, GRC and others. Support SHE manager to ensure that SHE PAR (Positive Assurance Review), PCC (Program Compliance Check), DCA (Deep Compliance Audit and Checking) etc. has been completed with effectiveness.
• Assist and support the site SHE managers in completing any compliance related documents and reports accurately and on time.
• Establish effective process to manage contractor safety management system and design process to be ensure contractor work are compliance action as agreed safe method statement and rules.
• Implement and Maintain Safety Health & Environmental (SHE) program to ensure the compliance of Unilever SHE standard and Thai law and Regulations and other related requirements.
• Be the Site Coordinator for PSM (Process Safety Management) to ensure that PSM processes are complied with local regulation and Unilever standard.
• Lead the SHE Risk assessment and participant in PSM HAZOP in Process Safety Area.
• Lead the field safety implementation in Central Facility Area.
• Lead all SHE projects, activities, and risk assessment of workplace and ensure that all changes that may impact to SHE have been reviewed and approved by MOC.
• Lead Safety Steering Committee, SHE sub-committee and all governance for all SHE related.
• Support the SHE manager to ensure that the SHE strategy, OKR, key action plan, and project have been deployed effectively including to the activities related to the SHE engagement etc.
• Support to Maintain the ISO 14001 standard and support to continue improving Environmental management.
• Support SHE manager for incident investigation and report in the responsible area and governance the improvement action to reduce incidents, occupational disease, and environmental pollution release.
• Provide SHE technical support and recommendations to engineering team on design of SHE standards and guidelines.
• Establish the SHE training for SHE Management System to all relevant employees refer to the training plan and training matrix., and engagement activities to build the employee’s knowledge and SHE awareness.
• Support to drive the Safety culture deployment program and activities such as SBO (Safety Behavior Observation program), DCA (Deep compliance audit) and Leadership engagement program such as the regular SHE inspection program etc.
• Lead to ensure that the Emergency preparedness and response plan are in place and effectiveness to response in case of emergency incident e.g. fire response equipment, spill management and emergency control.
• Lead the environmental compliance agenda of the site
• Ensure that all the relevant Safety Health and Environmental permits, license and its report are valid, and governance includes the new law and regulations that are relevant to the operations.
• Participant and/or lead the SHE Communication, engagement, and reward recognition program with all relevant functions.
• Conduct the IH (Industrial hygiene) risk assessment, monitoring and take the improvement plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from in Occupational Safety, Safety Engineering, Occupational Health, Engineering, Environment and related fields, License in Safety Professional
• At least 5 years’ experience in SHE (Manufacturing or FMCG are preferable)
• Technical expertise in analyzing numerical and claims data and industry performance measures such as Loss Time Injury Rates, Frequency Rates, and ISO14001
• Expertise in OH&S systems and industry “best practices”
• Fluent in English skill both communication and writing.
• Knowledge in Digital and innovation tool
• High leadership skills, people management skills and influence & communication.
• Able to work under extreme pressure in a multicultural environment.
