The Corporate FET is a high performing team, responsible for Planning, Budgeting and analysis of global Overhead cost and savings. The team is responsible for Overheads performance management across Unilever. This team consolidates and analyses cost across, regions and functions, to find meaningful actionable insights.

Job Purpose
This role is part of the Corporate FET Team based in Bangalore and reports to the Corporate FET Lead. The role works with Business Groups, Business Units, Corporate, GPM, GCAD teams in landing in year performance for overheads across markets. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a high potential, top talent in Unilever to level up analytical and influencing skills and develop as a seasoned global finance professional. Total Overheads cost base for Unilever is approx. €6Bn, this includes Global as well as Local overheads cost. With the strategic ambition of the company and portfolio transformation program, Overheads have a considerable contribution to make to deliver on this ambition. The Overheads management approach choses to invest for growth, it means that we set a € million overheads budget where we have built both productivities to fund growth and strategic investments. We have given freedom within this overhead budget to our leaders to author their plans as they judge most effective and supported them with Overheads tools & technology capability to enable discipline.

Year on Year emphasise on Overheads management increase. This brings a new challenge to Overheads as we need to identify specific BG cost and common BU cost to enable effective and efficient overheads management. The role is responsible for delivering this ambition and focus on (i) Long term strategic review of Overheads through tech and process enabled review (ii) Short- and Long- term performance of Overheads Cost Control.

Responsibilities
• Develop and rollout Overheads Analytics Reporting Suite for Total UL, Business Groups CFO’s, Markets and Corporate Units. They will help Unilever in bringing cutting edge analytics, addressing any structural problems, early indications on headwinds.
• Lead performance reviews at team level, supporting team to deliver the Overhead plan. Provide expertise and support in managing risks, managing special projects, and flagging key issues/opportunities to promote accountability.
• Design & define technology roadmap to create simplified and automated solutions for routine transactions, month end reporting and help units bring in overhead discipline to meet targets.
• Innovate and apply technologies like AI and Machine learning to extract insights, identify hot spots and drive corrective actions.
• Evolve lagging and leading KPIs framework and establish predictive analytics in a partnership with team to generate strategic insights and unlock productivity.
• E2E governance on overheads: accountable for running monthly governance to monitor and manage the state of health on key operational overheads metrics.

Key Requirements
Must have:
• Prior experience in commercial finance roles
• Proven ability to partner and influence business strategy
• Experience in core financial controlling and budgetary control
• Must work well with a wide range of global and country stakeholders.
• Must be very strong in senior stakeholder management.
• Proven ability to innovate and manage change
• Proven ability to 3P’s and consultants.

Nice to Have:
• Experience of building and leading teams
• Experience in CPG industry
• Experience in data science and complex data modelling

Skills/ Experience/ Qualifications
• Qualified CA, CIMA, ACCA, MBA or equivalent
• Work experience of 8-10 years in Corporate Finance, Category Finance function.
• Highly proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Well-developed communication skills
• Exceptional in responding and delivering under pressure.
• Extraordinary in analysis with seasoned presentation skills
