Seasonal Packaging Technician - Rexdale, ON

Who You Are & What You’ll Do
Come to work in an environment with a strong bias towards safety and action, operate machine(s), keeping watch for any malfunction. Responsible for maintaining quality and quantity of product as set by Quality Assurance and packaging Production Standards. Inspect product according to production specifications, and quality standards. Manage changeovers as necessary, using basic hand tools when necessary as well as cleaning and sanitization.

What You’ll Need To Succeed

• High School Diploma

• Knowledge of WHMIS, LOTO, GMP

• 2-3 years Manufacturing Experience in a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods Company preferred

• IT Skills – Competent in the use of machine data and control systems

• Ability to perform basic mathematical equations

• Basic mechanical knowledge and comfort using hand tools

• HACCP Trained an asset

• Comfortable working in any shift

• Payrate is $26.70/hr.
