Finance Business Partner - Cost

Function: Finance
Scope: Andina (Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia)
Location: Bogotá, Colombia
Terms & Conditions: Full-time – Hybrid (onsite in the office three days per week).No national or international relocation bonus applies.

Role Purpose:

The Supply Chain Finance Business Partner for Andina plays a critical role in driving value creation, cost transparency, and profitability through strong financial planning, forecasting excellence, and strategic business partnering.

This position is the Finance Business Partner for Cost Andina and a key contributor to Supply Chain Leadership, enabling data-driven decisions, cost optimization initiatives, and improved financial performance. The role requires strong financial fundamentals, deep understanding of P&L and cost structures, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders across markets.

Key Responsibilities:

Material Cost Forecasting & Performance Management

  • Lead the Material Cost Forecast for Andina, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with global standards.

  • Own the forecast bias and performance metrics of material costs.

  • Analyze and explain Actuals vs Forecast and Forecast vs Forecast variances across cycles.

  • Integrate drivers for price, reformulation (Product Logic), CMA (imports, exports, FX, taxation, logistics), and efficiency initiatives.

  • Ensure a consistent, data-driven forecasting process in partnership with SCFS, Procurement, and Performance Management.

Business Partnering

  • Act as the trusted finance partner for Procurement Andina (both internal Unilever teams and external Procurement stakeholders).

  • Provide clear financial insights, risk assessments, and opportunity identification to the Andina Supply Chain Leadership Team.

  • Coordinate closely with Commercial Finance teams in countries and FP&A Andina to ensure visibility of cost implications on P&L and margin.

Cost & Profitability Analytics

  • Perform deep financial analysis of material cost structures, including impacts on profitability, cash, and P&L.

  • Identify value creation opportunities, cost savings initiatives, and efficiency levers across Procurement and Supply Chain.

  • Support scenario planning, sensitivity analysis, and financial modelling for decision-making.

Governance, Compliance & Tools

  • Ensure adherence to Unilever’s financial controls and reporting standards.

  • Contribute to the development of tools, dashboards, and analytical models that enhance performance visibility.

  • Provide financial support for strategic reviews, audits (internal/external), and regional/global SC and Commercial Finance stakeholders as required.

Required Experience:

Professional Experience – Mandatory

  • 5+ years of experience in Finance, in roles such as:FP&A, Finance Business Partnering, Supply Chain Finance / Costing

  • Experience in FMCG or similar industries with local production + imported products (highly preferred).

  • Advanced Office 365 skills (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint; strong modelling capabilities required).

  • Advanced English (written & spoken)

Technical & Functional Skills

  • Strong knowledge of core financial processes; experience managing supply chain cost is a must.

  • Solid financial fundamentals combined with strong business partnering capabilities.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to simplify complex information; experience with design thinking is a plus.

  • Strong financial modelling, mathematical analysis, and data interpretation skills.

  • Experience in performance management or financial process–driven roles.

Proven Expertise In

  • Managing P&L, cost drivers, margin, and profitability dynamics.

  • Forecasting, financial planning cycles, and variance analysis.

  • Building financial models, scenarios, ROI assessments, and sensitivity analyses.

  • Working cross‑functionally and influencing senior stakeholders across Supply Chain, Procurement, and Finance.
