About Customer Development

Customer Development develops one to be an expert in the marketplace. It is a function responsible for understanding consumers, negotiating and building relationships with business partners, creating new ways on how consumers can be reached, both through online and offline channels.

To win and lead inomni-commerce, connecting our consumers to our brands to drivecategory growth, you’ll build partnerships with our wide range of customers – e-commerce platforms, supermarkets, superstores, convenience stores, drug stores, discounters, online retailers, and more.

That could mean working together to maximize a new product launch, recommending the right range of products, developing marketing programs, negotiating an annual business plan, or looking for new business opportunities. Our Customer Collaboration Centre allows us to work with our customers in exciting new ways. Our people can make a big impact every day on a local level.

What does the Program Involve?

Internship - A guaranteed (minimum 2 months) internship with your chosen function.  Internship start date is flexible depending on your school calendar. Business Week (tentative schedule on June 2026) - A weeklong immersion to the various functions of the company filled with networking sessions, business cases, talks from Unilever Leaders and more all done together with your fellow interns.
