JOB PURPOSE

As the Assistant Brand Manager, you will be responsible for driving category growth, portfolio strategy and leading product innovations. Additionally, this role brings together operator insights, category expertise and commercial understanding to ensure category delivers on penetration, consumption and profitability.  

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

  • Own End to End Category Projects consisting of insight development, idea generation, concept development and business case readiness for innovations and renovations.
  • Manage Innoflex platform and innovation gate process for local business
  • Lead Portfolio Savings Agenda to ascertain and implement incremental profitability
  • Identify operator needs and pain points via research projects in collaboration with CMI team
  • Manage cross functional teams and key stakeholders to deliver projects on time
  • Collaborate with CD and planning teams to ensure innovations target delivery
  • Collaborate with local and regional customer & digital marketing teams to conceptualize and execute brand launch campaigns
  • Manage Portfolio Assets Toolkit (selling stories, key visuals, packaging) in collaboration with Creative team

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4-5 Years Experience in FMCG Category Marketing

Skills

  • Deep understanding of innovation processes
  • Strong Project Management Skills and drives cross functional teams to deliver projects
  • Strong Creative Aptitude to aid internal and external creative teams in brand campaign concepts and visuals
  • Agile, resilient and flexible towards changes in scope and scale of projects
  • Demonstrates curiosity in identifying unmet operator needs and developing high impact solutions
  • Strong negotiator with key stakeholders for delivering projects
