JOB PURPOSE

You are passionate about the out of home (away from home) industry & love drinking Lipton Ice tea? You have strong commercial skills to manage customer relations? You are not afraid to deep dive into the numbers and make profitable yet attractive offers for (new) customers? You do not hesitate to grab this exciting opportunity because the Out Of Home Unilever Team is looking for a new Key Account Manager Petrol and Wholesalers OOH.

You will be part of the bigger Foods & Refreshment family and will be in the Refreshment team. Out of Home represents 12.5% of the Unilever Belux business and 26% within the Unilever Belux Lipton Ice Tea business.

Our OOH business consist of 95% beverages and 5% foods. The brands we have in our portfolio are Lipton Ice Tea, Zwan, Cup-a-Soup etc. We hold a market leader position in most markets in which we operate.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and follow-up wholesalers and Petrol customers.
    • Yearly negotiations
    • Customer P&L management
    • Flawless execution promo and activation plans
  • Develop and deliver a win-win customer strategy and Customer Business Plan through the best integration of the Unilever strategy, the customer strategy, and the category strategy.
  • Identify & unlock new opportunities together with the customers for Lipton Ice Tea & Foods (Zwan & Cup-a-Soup).
  • Sales data and market insights management
  • Develop and manage strong network with customers and organizations
  • Act as active ambassador of Unilever at the customer and of the customer at Unilever
  • Work in close collaboration with the Sales Lead to develop and align on the Key Accounts Strategy.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-5 years of experience in field sales in FMCG or with wholesalers.
  • Ability to be independent and autonomous.
  • Analytical mindset, passion for numbers, knowledge of analytical and AI tools (Power BI, Excel,…)
  • Fluency in Dutch and French is a MUST.
  • An energetic individual with proven negotiation experiences and a holistic set of sales skills, with as much passion for strategy as execution and financials.
  • Experience in Sales and customer relationship. Experience in the OOH world is a strong plus.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • A flexible brain to switch easily between strategy and executing the needed operational tasks to put the plan into place. Planning skills, good organization and fast decision taking required.
  • A commercial business mind-set, experience of understanding a P&L & ability to make clear decisions and collaborate with various stakeholders across different functions (internally and externally).
  • In it for the challenge and the fun, energetic and resilient.
  • Enthusiastic and positive, with a curious and naturally inclusive approach.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Working conditions:

  • Hybrid (3 days/week from office and 2 days from home).

Start date: as soon as possible.
