JOB PURPOSE

This role will lead the demand planning process for the Beauty & Wellbeing and Home Care categories in Unilever Spain. This role ensures high‑quality forecasts, drives an effective S&OP cycle, and partners closely with local and European teams to guarantee service excellence and optimal portfolio performance. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain a rolling demand plan (0–18/24 months) for both categories.

  • Analyze historical data, market trends, seasonal patterns, and promotional activities to deliver a robust forecast.

  • Manage baseline forecasting, promotional uplifts, new product launches, and relaunches.

  • Facilitate alignment across Marketing, Customer Development, Finance and Supply Planning.

  • Track and improve key KPIs: Forecast Accuracy, Bias, Service Level, Obsoletes, Inventory Health.

    Tools & Systems:

  • Use advanced planning systems such as Kinaxis Rapid Response and/or SAP APO / SAP S4.

  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives, digital transformation, and automation opportunities.

  • Support capability building and adoption of new planning tools and best practices.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 3–5 years in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, or S&OP (FMCG preferred).

  • Experience in managing large or complex portfolios within a matrix organization.

  • Strong knowledge of Kinaxis and/or SAP (APO/S4).

  • Advanced Excel skills and good understanding of statistical forecasting methods.

  • Leadership and influence, especially when engaging with senior stakeholders.

  • Autonomy and ownership, with the ability to prioritize and make decisions independently.

  • Strong change‑management capability, comfortable working in evolving environments.

  • Analytical thinking, structure, and clear communication.

  • Collaborative mindset, with the ability to partner effectively across functions and geographies.

Languages:

  • English (Advanced) is essential due to daily interaction with factories and European hubs.

  • Spanish: Professional proficiency.
