Beauty & Wellbeing Indonesia CM, Innovation, LTCP Manager

This is a temporary position for a fixed term of 6 months. Employment under this role is intended to support a specific business need/project and is not a permanent position. The contract duration is limited to 6 months from the start date and may end upon completion of the assignment, subject to company policies and business requirements.

Objective of The Role
Lead the end-to-end Collaborative Manufacturing (CM) and Strategic Planning agenda for B&W Indonesia to ensure sustainable business growth, operational excellence, supply resilience, and value creation. The role is accountable for managing third-party manufacturing partners, developing long-term manufacturing strategies, optimizing supply network capabilities, driving business performance, ensuring SHE excellence, and connecting local operations with BW Global manufacturing and supply chain strategies.

The role acts as a key link between Local Business Unit, Regional/Global Supply Chain, Manufacturing Partners, and Cross-Functional Teams to deliver superior customer service, cost competitiveness, innovation readiness, and sustainable growth.

Main Responsibilities
Regular/Routine duties (daily, weekly, monthly etc.)

• Lead governance and performance management of third-party manufacturing partners.
• Ensure CM partners consistently meet agreed targets in: Safety, Quality, Service, Cost, Delivery, Sustainability
• Build strategic partnerships with external manufacturers to support long-term business objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement programs across collaborative manufacturing sites.
• Ensure compliance with Unilever/BW manufacturing standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead CM capability enhancement and operational excellence initiatives.
• Develop short, medium, and long-term manufacturing strategies aligned with company growth ambition.
• Lead capacity planning and manufacturing footprint optimization.
• Evaluate make-versus-buy decisions and network design opportunities.
• Develop manufacturing scenarios to support: Business growth, Innovation launches, Supply continuity, Risk mitigation
• Identify strategic constraints and formulate improvement roadmaps.
• Drive supply network optimization through analytical modeling and simulation tools.
• Translate business strategy into manufacturing and supply chain initiatives.
• Provide financial and operational recommendations to support profitable growth.
• Lead business case development for: Capacity expansion, New technology implementation, Automation, Productivity initiatives, Collaborative Manufacturing investments
• Drive continuous value improvement through Cost & Cash optimization & Network efficiencies
• Assess manufacturing feasibility, investment implications, and capacity requirements.
• Build strategic supply capability to support future category growth.
• Lead manufacturing support for business transformation and market expansion initiatives
• Act as SHE leader for all CM operations and strategic planning activities.
• Ensure full compliance with Company SHE standards & Environmental compliance requirements
• Drive a zero-harm culture across internal and collaborative manufacturing environments.
• Lead risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective action implementation.
• Ensure integration of sustainability targets into manufacturing strategy
• Serve as Indonesia focal point for BW Global Collaborative Manufacturing and Strategic Planning agenda.
• Drive alignment of local manufacturing strategies with BW Global supply chain direction.
• Participate in global manufacturing and planning forums.
• Share best practices, benchmarking opportunities, and lessons learned across global networks
• Build and develop high-performing teams through coaching and mentoring.
• Strengthen strategic planning and analytical capabilities within the organization.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure team competency development aligned with future manufacturing capability requirements

Requirements & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or related disciplines
• Experience leading strategic transformation and business improvement initiatives
• Experience in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Strategic Planning, or Operations Excellence
• Minimum 5 years people leadership experience
