ABOUT UI

 UI will own and drive the growth from 1bn to 5bn by
1. Building leading market share positions in S.M.I.L.E. ( Small Island Landlocked & Extreme) geographies to serve underserved geographies  - combination of digital + in store execution
2. Serving underserved diaspora and religious population with the right innovations, festival marketing activation and building a strategy to serve these underserved consumers
3. Creating new innovations and marketing programs to serve underserved channels such as Corporate Partnerships, Govt ^ & NGO (GIN), Cross Border ecom, Discounters etc
4. Serving underserved brands by building a global model to seed, incubate and scale brands especially in Health and beauty, Ecom and modern trade
5. Building new niche and underserved categories like lip care, hand care, sun care, face care, dressings in D&E, Surface cleaning etc

THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT BECAUSE...

  • You will own the end-to-end distributor management from sales delivery, monthly reporting & tracking, order fulfilment, account receivable and relationship management for selected distributor account to achieve annual sales target

  • You will own the execution of JBP to translate the strategic alignment in JBP into action with each customer and retailer to achieve strategic growth ambition

  • You will conduct the market analysis to identify trends and opportunities within the categories based on scan sales and IMS data from customer

  • UI’s future growth will come from brand building at scale in the market by being the best in class in global digital marketing across search, social, performance marketing and moving to the final ultimate phase of direct to consumer and first party data

  • The No.1 Responsibility for the ABDM is ensure flawless execution from distributor to scale brands in market to become segment and channel leaders globally in key markets

  • Lead the Trade Marketing plan development for core seeding brands NPD launch and BLG based on shopper behaviour and market insights

  • Localises the Country Category Growth Strategy and deploys the commercial in-market Execution Plan that is aligned to overall BU strategy

  • Collaborate with Marketing team on campaign planning including GWP sourcing, promo planning, POSM deployment and activation

  • Work closely with Supply Chain to ensure timely fulfilment for all customers orders

  • Work closely with Ops team and distributor on distributor claim processing to ensure timely claim submission and avoid overdue payment

  • Monitor sales performance, analyse data and monitor competitor activities to provide actionable insights to BDM to drive business growth

Over 3 years’ experience in FMCG industry in distributor management, driving sales growth, Customer Development and Trade Marketing

  • You are a maverick, you don’t take no for an answer, you pioneer and are consumer obsessed

  • Strong network with customers and stakeholders in the Unilever business

  • Deeply collaborative and work and win with others

  • Have attention to detail and have a passion for execution
