As part of a truly global organisation, you’ll gain more than a career. You’ll tap into a vibrant, diverse network in a culture that cares deeply where everyone can succeed and grow. You will have the opportunity to make an impact and be eligible to the annual bonus plan, based both on business results and individual measurable contribution and performance, as well as for Annual Shares Plan, in line with the current company policy.

JOB PURPOSE

This role exists to ensure operational excellence that enables our Personal Care business and brands to thrive, through the safe, compliant, efficient and sustainable leadership of the Personal Care module in Nyírbátor.

As Plant Manager, you will combine operational leadership with strategic business accountability. You will lead the Personal Care module to deliver strong performance across safety, quality, service, cost and people, while shaping and executing its medium- to long-term strategy.

Reporting to both the Nyírbátor Sourcing Unit Director and the PC6 Supply Chain Vice President, you will be a member of the PC6 Supply Chain Leadership Team. You will collaborate closely with other Personal Care manufacturing sites across Europe, particularly the Leeds factory, to align priorities, share best practices and strengthen the performance of the wider supply network.

You’ll be part of a team that believes in doing work that matters — for people and the planet. Because here, we don’t just hire for jobs. We invite you to be part of something bigger.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the Personal Care module safely and effectively, ensuring day-to-day alignment across production, logistics, engineering and maintenance while delivering production and customer-service commitments.
  • Champion a strong safety, quality and compliance culture, maintaining high standards across occupational and process safety, environmental protection, hygiene, GMP, product quality and consumer safety.
  • Own operational and financial performance, delivering agreed budget, CPT, productivity, OEE and resource-utilisation targets while systematically reducing manufacturing losses.
  • Shape and execute the medium- to long-term strategy for the Personal Care module, ensuring alignment with Nyírbátor site priorities and the broader PC6 Supply Chain strategy.
  • Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement, embedding UMS standards, improving manufacturing processes and strengthening organisational effectiveness and factory flexibility.
  • Lead through disruption and change, setting priorities, addressing operational risks and implementing effective recovery and business-continuity actions when required.
  • Deliver innovation and investment programmes, ensuring approved projects, technology changes and ramp-ups achieve their agreed timing, cost and performance outcomes.
  • Build strong partnerships across the supply chain, collaborating with the PC6 Supply Chain Leadership Team, European manufacturing sites, particularly Leeds, and category, technology, procurement and other supply chain partners.
  • Lead, engage and develop the organisation, strengthening leadership capability, succession, coaching, performance and employee engagement in partnership with HR and employee representative bodies.
  • Provide visible site leadership and sound decision-making, keeping senior stakeholders informed of performance, strategic progress and risks, and acting within delegated authority for the Sourcing Unit Director when required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • University degree in engineering, technology, business, supply chain or another relevant discipline.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience within manufacturing, factory operations or supply chain, including substantial people and managerial leadership responsibility.
  • Strong knowledge of factory operations, production and cost management, quality, occupational safety and continuous improvement, with demonstrated ability to deliver operational and business results.
  • Proven leadership capability, including decision-making, systems thinking, change leadership, collaboration, conflict management and coaching, with experience leading teams in a complex operational environment.
  • Confident spoken and written English and Hungarian, with strong business communication skills and the ability to work effectively with senior and cross-functional stakeholders.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience leading or having significant accountability within a large-scale FMCG or similarly complex manufacturing environment, ideally involving high-volume production.
  • Demonstrated experience with operational excellence methodologies, manufacturing transformation, major investment or innovation programmes, and continuous improvement systems such as UMS or equivalent.
  • Experience collaborating across multiple manufacturing sites, countries or regional supply-chain networks, with the ability to influence effectively beyond direct reporting lines.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
