Job Purpose

Home Care Indonesia is looking for HC ID Assistant CMI Manager Fabric Experts & Innovation that is key to drive the category growth, aligned with key consumer insights and emergent innovation trends. Reporting to BU CMI Lead, the role is crucial in maintaining the core values of the category, ensuring consistency across different categories, and exploring opportunities for future growth into new categories and formats. The role will assist in developing and implementing innovative strategies that align with emerging market trends.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the charge on continuous strategic discussion and trend Performance metrics for Fabric Experts (Fabex) brands by being responsible for measurement and generation of insights from continuous research

  • Build strategic, sustainable business advantage for Fabex business in the short and long term by combining deep consumer-centricity with a nuanced understanding of business performance and strategy.

  • Build effective and collaborative relationships with various Business Teams and associated functions working on the category

  • Translate business objectives into clear research briefs for the brand, and communicate actionable insights based on data-based findings and logic to enable informed decisions.

  • Develop an understanding of the marketing mix creation process and ensure clarity of key risky assumptions and hypotheses to be tested in research at respective stages.

  • Learn and employ a range of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, choosing the methodology/source which is best suited to answering the business objectives for Fabex.

  • Ensure rigor in research design, data collection, analysis, and recommendations, collaborating with research agency partners where applicable.

  • Support the CMI Lead in delivering category, brand and innovation performance insights at a local division level

  • Partner with the CBD and CSP teams to drive market understanding and shopper insights evolves around Fabex into action.

Experience & Qualification

  • At least 2-4 years of work experience in Market Research / Consumer Insight roles in the agency/client side

  • Demonstrated experience using quantitative/qualitative research to generate insights that inform business strategy

  • Experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Experience in delivering customized research projects - qualitative and/or quantitative

  • Experience in analysis of syndicated data sources e.g. consumer panel and retail audit

  • High personal responsibility and accountability.

  • Good team player with great communication skills.

  • Rigor in quality of work with great attention to detail.

  • Flexibility to adapt to fast-paced and changing contexts.

  • Willingness and openness to learn from others and from the past, and in envisioning possibilities for the future.

Skill

  • Good analytical thinking (especially personal passionate on data and insight) and communication skills (both written and verbal) to present clearly, simplify complex topics and influence decision-making

  • Proficiency in utilizing track metrics to derive actionable insights

  • Strong communication skills to be able to manage conversations with Business Partners and give initial recommendations.

  • Possess analytical skills to explore, weigh and consolidate various perspectives in consumer lives and business strategy, to arrive at a reasoned and objective conclusion and recommendation.

  • Project management skills to deal with simultaneous projects happening in a changeable environment.

  • A team player: accountable, open minded who likes to work in rapid and agile way
