Tax Manager

Main Responsibilities
Lead Indonesia tax operations and compliance activities, ensuring full compliance with corporate income tax, VAT, withholding tax, transfer pricing, and managing tax litigation. Partner with business and across functions including global tax teams to manage tax risks, support business initiatives, and drive tax process improvements while maintaining audit readiness.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Taxation, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of progressive tax experience, including leadership exposure in a tax manager or senior tax role.
• Professional certification (Brevet A & B) is strongly preferred.
• Prior experience within a multinational or FMCG environment is highly advantageous, with exposure to tax accounting practices.
• Strong command of English, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with global stakeholders.
• Deep expertise in Indonesian tax regulations, including Corporate Income Tax, Indirect Tax, and Transfer Pricing.
• Proven track record in managing end-to-end tax operations, including tax compliance and driving process improvements (including customs).
• Experience handling tax audits with the Indonesian Tax Authority and managing disputes
• Strong project management and leadership capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and guide team performance effectively.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills

Core Skills & Capabilities

• Proficiency in Indonesian tax systems (e.g., CoreTax, OSS, and related platforms).
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel (data analysis, reconciliation) and PowerPoint for executive reporting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• High attention to detail with a strong compliance and risk management mindset
