Job Title:CHAMPA Assistant Program Manager

Location: Laos

Main Job Purpose

Drive Sales Excellence, Retail Visibility, and Field Capability Development

Are you passionate about commercial operations, capability building, and driving execution excellence in a fast-paced FMCG environment? We are looking for a highly motivated CHAMPA Assistant Program Manager to lead our Champa channel strategy, agency management, and field capability agenda while ensuring best-in-class retail execution across the market.

Key Responsibilities:

Program & Agency Leadership

  • Lead and manage the Champa agency and Champa Activation program to deliver business objectives.
  • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of channel initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement of program effectiveness and execution standards.

Sales Planning & Performance Management

  • Develop, manage, and track the Champa Sales Plan to achieve growth targets.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identify gaps, and implement corrective action plans.
  • Provide regular performance analysis, reporting, and recommendations to stakeholders.

Budget & Resource Management

  • Own and manage the Champa budget to ensure effective and efficient allocation of resources.
  • Track program investments, monitor spending, and deliver strong return on investment.

Retail Visibility & Execution Excellence

  • Ensure Champa stores consistently comply with Unilever visibility and merchandising standards.
  • Partner with field teams to enhance in-store execution, brand presence, and customer engagement.
  • Conduct regular audits and follow-up actions to maintain execution excellence.

Capability Building & Training

  • Lead the Champa Lady Capability Program, including training, coaching, and development initiatives.
  • Design and coordinate learning interventions to strengthen selling, merchandising, and execution capabilities.
  • Drive adoption of capability-building programs and performance improvement initiatives.

Key Requirements

Experience:

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in:
    • Program Management
    • Project Coordination
    • Sales Capability
    • Training & Development
    • Commercial Excellence
    • FMCG Commercial Operations

Technical & Functional Skills

  • Proven program coordination and project management experience.
  • Strong stakeholder management across multiple functions.
  • Experience managing field execution and capability-building programs.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to track KPIs, analyze performance trends, and translate insights into action plans.
  • Advanced proficiency in:
    • Microsoft Excel
    • Power BI
    • PowerPoint
    • Digital productivity and reporting tools

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Management, or a related field.
  • Strong experience working with field sales teams and commercial functions.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Fluency in Lao and good business-level English communication.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience within the FMCG industry.
  • Background in sales capability and training programs.
  • Knowledge of sales excellence frameworks and field-force effectiveness.
  • Exposure to digital learning platforms and performance-tracking systems.
  • Experience supporting retail activation, promoter programs, or field execution initiatives.
