Role Details

To deliver Consumer Goods Innovations that delight consumers and minimise the environmental footprint, Unilever Research and Development (R&D) relies on SAP Product Life Cycle Management (SAP PLM) and various other R&D tools to execute their day-to-day work.  We are looking for an experienced person who will be part of the Unilever R&D IT platform team located in the Uniops Office in Bangalore. In addition, the person will take on responsibilities to

Accountabilities and responsibilities:

• Manage implementation and support of R&D IT solutions

• Manage a team consisting of 3rd Party vendors to deliver solutions using agile project delivery methods.

• Working with Product Owners and Business teams to land new capabilities.

• Work closely with budget holders and steering groups to advise on architectural options and ensure that solutions strategy decisions are implemented.

• Translate user requirements / user stories into designs and cost estimates.

• Ensure that all solutions architectural elements conform to Unilever Standards

• Ensure that R&D implementation of solutions adheres to best Industry standards

• Regular review of User Incidents and Problem tickets to ensure that same are resolved within SLA’s and right technical solution

• Manage team resources and budget.

Skills we’re looking for:

•  Detail-oriented, with proven communication and analytical skills

•  Focused and hardworking professional equipped with through knowledge and technical understanding coupled with analytical skills and confident to take challenging assignments.

•   Capable of understanding the business requirements and converting them into a solution.

•   Have worked on Waterfall as well as Agile based project methodologies.

•   Team player who can easily fit into the team and available for the project from a long-term perspective
