Job Title: Executive Engineer - Electrical & Electronics Engineering

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Engineer with a strong background in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering to join our team at the HUL Chhindwara Detergent Plant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing engineering projects, ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of plant equipment, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. He should have an Electrical Supervisory license for 33kV HT operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Execution: Plan, schedule, and execute engineering projects to ensure timely completion within budget and quality standards.
  • Maintenance Management: Oversee the maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure all engineering activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for electrical and mechanical issues.
  • Budget Management: Manage project budgets and control costs effectively.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and supply chain, to achieve plant objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the FMCG or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including PLCs, motors, and HVAC systems.
  • Proven experience in project management and team leadership.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
  • Proficiency in using engineering software and tools.
