Job Title: Production Shift Executive - Soaps

Job Purpose:

The Production Shift Executive is responsible for managing manufacturing operations and production delivery during shifts while monitoring performance, overtime allocation, working patterns and dispute resolution. S/he will lead improvement projects for operational processes and use UMS/WMS methodologies and IP processes to drive teams, counter losses, eradicate waste and lead project work to support factory initiatives. Moreover, s/he will liaise closely with the core factory functions, including Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Safety and Employee relations to ensure efficiency and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute and ensure delivery of line and unit KPIs
  • Ensure the efficient operation and changeover of the plant by prioritizing and allocating resources such as manpower and materials to ensure product is effectively processed or packed to company specification and standards
  • Apply rigorous Cost Deployment and the Zero loss concept to eliminate losses in alignment with WCM and LEAN methodologies
  • Identify, prioritize and address problems using appropriate tools and techniques that eliminate recurrence
  • Identify preventative maintenance schemes and condition monitoring
  • Prioritize and coordinate business resources to influence change and resolve conflicts where identified
  • Timely and accurate administration of team spanning shift rosters, pay, performance review, attendance, training, and safety.  Liaise with Sourcing Unit leads to ensure policy compliance
  • Ensure production team completes all required documentation to standard and captures maintenance, quality, production information and process information on relevant data system
  • Build relationships and promote a winning and assisting culture within production line/sub-circle teams and beyond with Leadership

Experiences & Qualifications:

  • 1-2 Years of experience in Manufacturing
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
