JOB PURPOSE

Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of data engineering solutions that power media measurement, analytics, and reporting. Partner with commercial, analytics, and technology teams to deliver scalable, high-quality data products that enable data-driven decision-making across media and marketing.You’llbe part of a team that believes in doing work that matters — for people and the planet.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the design andoperation of media data pipelines, data lakes, and integration with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).

  • Translate business and analytics requirements into robust, automated data solutions for media performance, campaign reporting, and advanced analytics.

  • Oversee the design, buildout, and ongoing maintenance of dashboards and data visualization tools to ensure stakeholders havetimely, actionable insights.

  • Establish andmaintainthe semantic layer and data modeling framework for media data, ensuring consistency and self-service analytics.

  • Build and operationalize advanced analytic models (e.g., media mix modeling, attribution, audience segmentation) in partnership with analytics teams.

  • Oversee data quality, governance, and security for all media data assets.

  • Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

  • Stay current on emerging technologies, tools, and best practices in media data engineering.

  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to expand data capabilities and support business growth.

  • Works with Performance Analytics (for dashboard requirements and data delivery) and Advanced Analytics (for model integration). Does not own insight generation or business recommendations.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 6+ years of experience in data engineering or related field.

  • Advancedproficiencywith cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), Databricks, SQL, Python,PySpark, and data pipeline orchestration.

  • Experience designing and managing large-scale data lakes and ETL/ELT processes.

  • Proven experience in dashboard development and maintenance (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).

  • Demonstrated leadership of technical teams and cross-functional projects.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree inComputerScience, Data Engineering, or related field.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with media or marketing data sources (e.g., ad servers, DSPs, social platforms).

  • Experience integrating media data with analytics/reporting tools.

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field.

  • Experience in consumer goods or media/advertising industry.

Pay: The pay range for this position is $115,680 to $173,520. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that areutilizedin making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs. 

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible. 

Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
