Job Title: P2P Lead & Asset Accounting

Location: Hetauda, Nepal
Department: Finance & Accounting

Job Purpose:

Responsible for managing the entire asset accounting process and leading the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) team. This role ensures accurate CAPEX accounting, compliance with SOPs, and timely reporting to the India team. The position also oversees fixed asset management, payment processing, and lease accounting while maintaining strong internal controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Asset Accounting & CAPEX Management
    • Raise WBS tickets for CAPEX projects and ensure accurate monthly accounting.
    • Prepare and submit monthly reports to the India team.
    • Conduct quarterly CAPEX cost forecasts and monthly reviews.
    • Maintain and update the Fixed Assets Register, including location changes and RFID tagging.
    • Coordinate with auditors for asset verification and compliance.
  • P2P Process Leadership
    • Oversee end-to-end P2P verification, checks, and balances.
    • Ensure adherence to SOPs for procurement and payment processes.
    • Manage local, Indian, and foreign payments, including LC advance processing.
    • Capture, book, and execute all payments through EWF.
  • Financial Operations
    • Handle rent and car payments, and ensure lease accounting compliance.
    • Renew yearly insurance for fixed assets and stock.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2-4 years in asset accounting and P2P process management.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of CAPEX accounting and forecasting.
    • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred).
    • Understanding of lease accounting and insurance processes.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Leadership and team management capabilities.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Preferred:

  • Experience in multinational company operations.
  • Familiarity with RFID tagging and fixed asset audits.
