The Unilever Future Leaders Programme (UFLP) is a graduate trainee programme designed to develop future-fit talent by providing challenging and purposeful opportunities that accelerate your readiness to solve business problems and create real impact.

The programme includes three rotations within and across functions in an accelerated learning environment. This includes extended leadership exposure, formal training, and continuous professional development.

What Do We Look For?

We welcome talented individuals from a wide range of academic backgrounds, as we believe in a résumé-free selection process for the UFLP.

For R&D, a strong technical qualification is required in Chemical, Biological, Physical, or Food-related Sciences, or Chemical/Materials Engineering-related disciplines.

For Supply Chain & Procurement, you will need a strong background in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Manufacturing, or similar engineering disciplines.

We also accept degrees in Mathematics, Business, Technology, or Design-related disciplines.

UFLP Benefits

Application Process

  • Step 1: Online Application

    Complete the online application form and tell us all about your motivation for choosing Unilever and your selected programme. It is a simple and easy process.

  • Step 2: Digital assessment

    Invitation sent after the online application. Includes motivation, personality, and cognitive assessments.

  • Step 3: Digital Interview

    Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete a digital interview, answering a set of questions to help us learn more about your motivation and experience.

  • Step 4: Discovery Centre

    Conducted in person at the Rotterdam office. At the end of day, you will know whether you have received an offer.

Online Application Period

You must complete up to Stage 3 (Digital Interview) by the end of the online application period to be eligible for the UFLP. We operate on a first-come, first-served basis, so do not wait.

Completing all online stages may take a few days, so we strongly encourage you to finish each stage as early as possible.
