Main Job Purpose:
The Channel Distributor Manager is responsible for driving profitable growth across both strategic key accounts and distributor channels within the Visayas region. This role leads customer and distributor engagement, develops market expansion strategies, ensures operational excellence, and delivers sustainable business results through strong commercial execution and cross-functional collaboration.
The position balances account management, distributor development, market expansion, revenue growth, and customer satisfaction while leveraging data-driven insights to identify opportunities and drive business performance.
What Will Your Main Responsibilities Be:
Drive Sales Growth & Business Performance
- Deliver revenue, volume, market share, and profitability targets across major accounts and distributor channels.
- Identify growth opportunities through distribution expansion, account development, and category growth initiatives.
Manage Strategic Customers & Distributor Partnerships
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and decision-makers.
- Conduct regular business reviews to ensure alignment on growth objectives and execution priorities.
Develop & Execute Commercial Plans
- Create and implement Joint Business Plans (JBPs), account growth strategies, and channel development programs.
- Lead promotional, distribution, and customer activation initiatives to maximize business results.
Monitor Performance & Generate Business Insights
- Analyze sales performance, market trends, customer data, and competitive activities.
- Develop actionable recommendations and recovery plans to address performance gaps and seize growth opportunities.
Lead Cross-Functional Collaboration & Capability Building
- Partner with Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Customer Service teams to ensure excellent execution.
- Coach and develop distributor and customer-facing teams to strengthen commercial capabilities and execution excellence.
Experiences & Qualifications
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Economics, or related field.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Sales, Key Account Management, Distributor Management, or Commercial Leadership.
- Proven track record of consistently delivering sales and growth targets.
- Experience managing both modern trade/key accounts and distributor operations.
- Experience in FMCG, Consumer Goods, Retail, or Distribution industries preferred.
