JOB PURPOSE

This role exists tolead Safety, Health,Environmentand site security agenda for Foods LATAMthat includes 2sites in Mexico, 2 sites in Brazil and 2 sites in Argentina, also working in partnership with other categories in Mexico to assure legal compliance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• ​​Implement Global SSHE policies and standards driving compliance

• ​Conduct regular safety audits and inspections toidentifyand mitigate risks.

• ​Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to safety, health, and the environment.

• ​Lead incident investigations and root causeanalysis, andimplement corrective actions.

• ​Provide training and guidance to employees on SSHE practices and procedures.

• ​Monitor and report on SSHE performance metrics and trends.

• ​Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SSHE considerations into business operations.

• ​Manage and oversee emergency response plans and drills.

• ​Stay current withindustrybest practices and regulatory changes.

• ​Partnerwith TAs and CPs to reduce and mitigate risks, including explosive dust, ,boilers and flammables.

REQUIREDQUALIFICATIONS

• ​​Bachelor’s degree, in Engineering, Science, Environment or similar

• ​Previousexperience leading SHE agenda at complex sites, minimum of 7-10 years of experience in SHE management, with at least 3 years in a senior role.

• ​Leading incident/accident investigations and lessons learned, closing audit gaps & findingsin a timely manner

• ​Leading Risk Assessments, Strong advocate of implementation of Engineering Controls

• ​Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• ​​Familiar with OH&S Management systemseg: ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 certifications.

• ​Strong analytical focus on reporting and governance

• ​Certification in SHE management (e.g., CSP, CIH, NEBOSH) is preferred.
