JOB PURPOSE

The Distribution Assistant Manager – Back of Factory (BoF) South is accountable for end‑to‑end warehouse and transportation operations at Back of Factory, ensuring safe, reliable, and cost‑effective movement of finished goods from Cu Chi factory to National & Regional Distribution Centers.

The role drives operational excellence, cost optimization, service performance, and logistics capability development, while partnering closely with Manufacturing, Planning, Customer Service, SHE, Finance, Procurement, and 3PL partners (Linfox & inhouse transporters).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Warehouse & Transportation Operations (BoF South)
• Lead day-to-day inbound & outbound warehouse operations, ensuring smooth dispatch from Cu Chi factory to NW & regional DCs.
• Own daily warehouse execution, resource planning, and resolution of ad‑hoc or critical operational issues.
• Review and control dispatch plans, delivery performance, and capacity utilization, balancing resources across plants and transport modes.
• Monitor and improve outbound delivery KPIs (DCFOT, OBD, DROO), conduct root cause analysis, and deploy corrective actions.

2. Cost & Performance Management
• Control warehouse operating cost, including routine / non‑routine, OOS, and charge‑out costs within approved FC budgets.
• Evaluate and challenge 3PL (Linfox) operational KPIs and incentives, ensuring value for money and contractual compliance.
• Drive warehouse & transportation cost optimization initiatives, including labor productivity, process simplification, and network efficiency.

3. Stock, Systems & Reporting
• Oversee finished‑goods stock management at BoF warehouses (HCL, PCL, ORAL, FOODS), ensuring inventory accuracy and availability.
• Control DRP / OBD updates and ensure alignment between factory, DCs, and Customer Service.
• Own and maintain BoF operational dashboards (daily updates, NW performance, waste, fuel, 2nd TPT by SKU/category) using Power BI and standard reporting tools.

4. Customer, Issue & Complaint Management
• Oversee finished‑goods stock management at BoF warehouses (HCL, PCL, ORAL, FOODS), ensuring inventory accuracy and availability.
• Control DRP / OBD updates and ensure alignment between factory, DCs, and Customer Service.
• Own and maintain BoF operational dashboards (daily updates, NW performance, waste, fuel, 2nd TPT by SKU/category) using Power BI and standard reporting tools.

5. Safety, SHE & Compliance
• Ensure full compliance with SHE, Security, and BOF safety standards, including dock safety, loading, storage, and transport operations.
• Lead or represent Distribution in SHE governance forums (SHECOM, SHEQ, SBD/DCA, safety walks).
• Drive safety capability building for warehouse teams and transporters, including training and audits.

6. Logistics Excellence & Continuous Improvement
• Lead Logistics Excellence programs and projects for BoF South, aligned with Vietnam Ambient Network strategy.
• Drive process optimization and productivity improvement through Lean, continuous improvement, and digitalization initiatives.
• Lead initiatives on warehouse layout, MHE optimization, automation readiness, and warehouse design improvements to improve cost, service, and carbon footprint. Partner with Procurement on 3PL performance management (Linfox, in‑house transporters).

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 4-6 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or related major is preferred
• Strong experience in Warehouse & 3PL operations, preferably in FMCG/Retail/Manufacturing environments.
• Proven knowledge of Lean, Continuous Improvement, and 6 Sigma concepts.
• Strong process mapping, problem‑solving, and data analysis skills (Power BI, Excel).
• Able to operate confidently in a factory environment, manage ambiguity, and resolve operational crises.
