Job Purpose

Cell Leader is responsible for overseeing the manufacturing process within an assigned group of production lines (cell). Reported and guided by the First Line Manager (Production Manager), this role focuses on ensuring operational efficiency, compliance with safety and quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to maximize and aim to the full capacity of all production lines in the assigned cell. 

Main Responsibilities

·       Manage production efficiency within the assigned cell to improve output reliability

·       Monitor and report production performance regularly.

·       Oversee safety and environmental procedures for processes, materials, products, and equipment.

·       Apply continuous improvement methodologies to eliminate Waste and Loss, using AM, PM, FI and QC pillar tools and methodologies

·       Create Technical Standards to ensure process stability on the line

·       Application and accuracy of MMP (Managing Manufacturing Performance) Code data

·       Drive cost-saving deployment, maximize efficiency and capacity of the to the assigned cell

·       Maintain quality standards and perform risk assessments.

·       Solve operational problems using appropriate tools and techniques

·       Deploys and manages the Quality processes on the line in alignment with the Quality team. Prepares the Quality measures for meetings and assessment of upcoming deviations for the daily workflow

·       Deploys and manages the safety and environment processes of the line in alignment with the safety team. Prepares the EHS measures for meetings and assessment of upcoming deviations for the daily workflow

·       Understand and use digital technologies, critical thinking, and online navigation skills

·       Supports all other work processes in the line workflows

Skill & Qualification

·       Able to clearly understand operating principles and establish correct operating standards

·       Able to make logical decisions based on data

·       Possess challenging and pioneering spirit

·       Good command of both written and spoken in English

·       Good in presentation, communication, and inspiration skill

·       Proficiencies in Microsoft Office program

·       Energetic, working under dynamic environment and good interpersonal skills 

Education & Experience

·       Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering or relevant

·       Minimum 2 – 3 years proven work experience as production engineer or related role

·       Profession in foods production management is highly preferred

·       Hand on experience in FMCGs manufacturing process and technology

·       Familiar with a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures of FMCG

·       Familiar or experienced in continuous improvement programs/tools

·       Experience in the implementation or using methodology of Lean, TPM, Sig sigma, or related tools is preferred
