JOB PURPOSE

Manages the growth and execution of the MT / DT channels, alongside the field teams. The role entails having a strong partnership across several stakeholders (field, BU, finance, operations) to hit growth targets via the determining right spend principles and putting governance on activity execution. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Channel Governance

  • Translate category activities into field-ready execution plans 

  • Manage the national calendar to ensure no overlaps in promotions  

  • Have extensive rigor in the assessment and implementation of activities across retailers 

  • Budget discussions and management with stakeholders 

  • Drive trade budget optimization in OG / DT channels 

  • Ensure strong controls in budget management to execution 

  • Craft principles for Perfect Store execution 

  • Is the voice of CBD internal discussions (CSP, Finance, etc) 

  • Partnering with field teams and head office stakeholders

  • Continuous improvement of operational processes

  • Retail Solutions, Shopper Growth Optimization leads

ROLE QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4+ years of work experience, with heavy cross-functional collaboration 

  • Ability to adapt to and can problem-solve in a fast-changing environment  

  • Strong communication and presentation skills  

  • Highly operational and has attention to detail
