Our end customers are institutions (social) as well as HoReCa, butchers, caterers and sandwich bars (commercial). Our team of 65 employees realizes a turnover of € 66 million on the Belgian and Luxembourg food service market. Our range offers various degrees of convenience products, ranging from basic products to ready-to-use products. Products with which the chef always efficiently expresses his creativity in the dishes. The brands we have in our portfolio include KNORR, HELLMANN's. . We are a growing company and hold a leading position in most of the markets in which we are active: soups, sauces, bouillons,binders, spices,dressings ....
JOB PURPOSE

Within Unilever Food Solutions (UFS), we offer a full-time job for a Regional Account Manager within our Trade team for the region West-Vlaanderen Brussel , Wallonië In this role, you will contribute to develop the regional Trade partners of Unilever Food Solutions and deliver our growth ambition in Belgium . The role is based in Brussels.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Within the Unilever Food Solutions team, you are Regional Account Manager Trade for Regional Foodservice distributors in the region West-Vlaanderen , Wallonië en Brussels
These regional distributors are mainly active in the horeca segment , butcher/traiteurs segment and limited present in the mass catering segment.
Your job includes the following tasks:
- Development of a longer strategic collaboration for this distributors , develop joint customers plans to grow our business faster than market growth, develop new route to market (CRM, E-commercial, digital, ...) to secure future growth.
- Implementation and superior execution of the customer business plans for your customers in cooperation with Channel Marketing Trade and for the delivery of the turnover target of these customers.
- Negotiation and closing deals ,ensuring Trade discounts, budgets are utilised efficiently, within goal and with no un-authorised overrun.
- Analysis of customer results, selling in vs selling out, digital, category & product results.
- Securing and retaining complete range listings (including listings & stocking of all new product introductions), promotional listings and price increases with all trade customers.
- Maintaining necessary trade customer contact at all levels and execute the Free Trade strategy, through motivating, training and incentivising Distributor Sales Management and their sales teams to actively resell UFS products, with focus on Top 10.
- To work together with peers in Operator Sales teams, Chains, Digital & marketing, for the benefit of the full UFS team.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum Bachelor diploma or equivalent by experience.
- 3-4 years of proven successful experience in sales, whatever the sector.
- Bilingual Dutch - French & good commands of English.
- Key Account Management experience required.
- You are strongly relational, contact oriented, empathic and able to develop a customer contact into a win-win relationship.
- You are a strong negotiator and capable to close complex deals.
- You have natural strategic insight and strong analytical skills, that supports your client cases.
- Fluent knowledge of computer science: Excel & PowerPoint.
- Valid driver’s license mandatory.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Affinity with Food is a must and knowledge of the food service market is a plus.
- Background in Food industry is preferred or in FMCG.
- You have the necessary dose of self-confidence and persuasiveness.
- You are strongly result-oriented and have a strong perseverance.
- You have a positive but realistic attitude.
- You are inventive and at ease with digital age.
- You are meticulous, systematic & independent.
