Dispensary Man

MAIN JOB PURPOSE

The Bulk Dispensary Man is responsible for the preparation and handling of materials that are aligned with the ingredient and bulk specifications, safety & quality requirements, SOP, and production plan and capacity. 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Safety and Quality

• Follow all safety and quality policies and procedures according to the existing guidelines.

• Wear / Use prescribed PPEs and use prescribed engineering controls (ventilation, anti-static mat, etc.)

• Follow standards on personal hygiene

• Use LOTO during troubleshooting and CILT

• Ensure that machine guarding is in place before and during production

• Use proper tools and equipment during troubleshooting and maintenance activities of basic equipment

• Follow prescribed work procedures and company safety rules and regulations 

Operations

• Provide support in execution of the activities of Production in accordance with the operational guidelines and procedures as needed

• RM handling, dispensing, and dosing

• Conduct visual check on the quality and quantity of ingredients during dispensing and dosing

• Coordinates with the Process Control Operator to ensure on-time availability of dispensed kit to mixers

• In-charge of the daily deliveries RM (SLES / CAPB) to the Plant

• Conducts quarterly wall to wall count of materials and SFGs

• Conducts weekly inventory of materials (RM, Batch Kits, SFGs)

• RMs handling from dispensary area to mixer area and dosing to vessels

• Maintaining 5S/GHK of the SLES / CAPB Tank Farm Area

• Conducts cleaning, inspection, lubrications, and adjustments of the equipment with supervision and guidance from qualified operator or engineering technician

• Support the execution of Planned Maintenance activities and Emergency Repairs of equipment with supervision and guidance from qualified operator or engineering technician for basic equipment

• Performs other activities as may be required by his First Line Manager

• Responsible for good housekeeping of Process area

• Fill up trackers (dispensary sheet, checklists, etc.) as required by QA for traceabilityEnsure proper handover to the incoming Production Staff between shifts 

Admin

• Compliance to company COBP, R&R

• Compliance to the GMP and GHK rules of the plant​

​Focused Improvement

• Participates in Focused Improvement activities

• Executes agreed Focused Improvement actions

• Raises improvement activities (OFI) and OPL 

KPI

• Safety & Quality

• Waste Reduction

• Service – Bulk availability, Batch Kits per Shift, Bestank inventory 

• AM Calendar Completion / Weekly AM Compliance 

• Variance from Dispensary Operations 

Maintenance

• Perform routine activities such as operation, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of Mixers and ensure that machines are available for production.

• Perform preventive and autonomous maintenance task, including CILT, based on the calendar given by the maintenance planner.

• Participates in the EWO (emergency work order) filling up and execution of actions that relates to prevent any similar breakdown 

Digital

• Able to operate simple gadgets such as smart phone/ scanner and iPad 

• Learn and adapt to digital tools as required by the Company 

Manning

• Participates in the Company’s training programs 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

• Vocational course or technical course related to manufacturing

• Basic appreciation of systems and can propose recommendations for improvement

• Basic appreciation of R2S principles of OEE computation, loss measurements, basic problem-solving techniques

• Working knowledge of raw material quality and specifications

• Knowledge of the 5S principles and the ability to consistently practice them

• Basic appreciation and knowledge in proper lubrication for machines and other autonomous maintenance activities

• Attention to detail regarding documentation

• Basic knowledge of OSHAS, EMS, GMP and HACCP

• Ability to prepare production reports and log sheets communicate clearly both verbally and in writing

• Ability to perform simple mathematical computations 

• Willing to work in General Trias, Cavite
