Background & Purpose of the Job
The Unilever Personal Care category is on a journey as we look to accelerate Deodorants businesses in the US and drive competitive and sustainable growth for the company. Our role the Associate CMI Demand Generation is to help drive the Deodorants portfolio current business, with a particular focus on three of the largest Personal Care Brands: Dove, Dove Men + Care, and Axe.

Who You Are & What You’ll Do
The Design for Associate CMI Manager will be part of the North America Personal Care Consumer Market Insights team and will be responsible for analyzing a wide range of data to help inform marketing, brand, and business strategies for our Deodorants Category, with a specific focus on Dove, Dove Men + Care, and Axe and the current business. They will translate internal briefs into analytical projects. They will be comfortable using a wide range of analytical tools (e.g. Circana, Numerator, Social Listening) and have expertise both in traditional and new market research methods. The individual will be responsible for providing quantitative and qualitative analysis and insight focused on the current business, whilst working alongside brand teams, Category Strategy, and the CMI Demand Generation Senior Manager.

Primary Responsibilities
o Partner with stakeholders to align all research projects to the strategic priorities of the NA Deodorants team and communicate back key findings
o Lead social listening for brand, category, competitive, and socially trending topics to ensure our brands are agile and in-culture
o Translate internal briefs and questions into analytical projects (includes refining the initial ask and asking the ‘right questions,’ working through potential hypotheses and storyboarding the output)
o Conduct analyses using in-house analytics tools, and be comfortable analyzing a range of social and business data as well as traditional business data (e.g. Circana, Numerator, Kantar)
o Lead qualitative and quantitative research analysis and insight to inform category strategy, brand strategy, marketing communication/campaigns and new product development
o Synthesize data and analysis into impactful, action-orientated analyses for internal stakeholders and communicate key findings and insight to senior stakeholders and peers
o Utilize dashboards for internal stakeholders using internal visualization tools (Power BI)
o Partner closely with brand teams (Dove, Dove Men + Care, Axe) to elevate in market strategy; partner with Axe to elevate brand building

What You’ll Need To Succeed
o Undergraduate degree required. Advanced degree in Marketing, Marketing Research, Analytics, or similar field preferred.
o Demonstrated high performance, 3+ years of experience in an analytical and strategic role and providing insights and recommendations based on analysis.
o Passion for the digital world and its implications for business – A deep understanding of the local social media landscape, influencer marketing, etc.
o Passion around personal care trends and landscape
o Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including storytelling in a corporate context, and crafting clear, compelling messages
o Experience with understanding business questions and writing appropriate briefs
o Experience with using analytical tools, quantitative, and qualitative research
o Confident doing things differently and ability to face challenges head-on in times of uncertainty, with a collaborative approach
o CPG Experience Preferred

Pay: The pay range for this position is $88,600 to $133,000. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that areutilizedin making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs. 

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible. 

Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
