Job Purpose

Dove Men+Care was launched in 2010 and reached €1 billion in sales in 2024. The brand has delivered consistent growth, driven by its position as the first to authentically speak to the modern man and its commitment to superior care. As a category trailblazer, Dove Men+Care has expanded men’s access to high-quality personal care across formats and routines where they were previously underserved.

Today, Dove Men+Care Personal Care sales are split approximately 60% Deodorants and 40% Skin Cleansing, with the US accounting for 56% of total sales in 2024 and the remaining 44% generated across the rest of the world. This creates a significant opportunity to accelerate growth internationally, where the brand has substantial headroom to scale.

As the Associate Director and Head of Dove Men Deos BG North America, you will lead the Dove Men+Care agenda across Latin America, Europe, and Asia during a pivotal moment for the brand. Building on a strong foundation, you will shape the next phase of growth by strengthening brand desirability, deepening cultural relevance, and ensuring Dove Men+Care continues to lead in an evolving men’s personal care landscape.

Key Accountabilities

  • Serve as a core member of the Dove Men+Care leadership team, leading Brand Managers and partnering cross-functionally to deliver business results.
  • Define and drive the long-term regional strategy for Latin America, Europe, and Asia, prioritizing high-impact growth opportunities across Deodorants and Skin Cleansing.
  • Lead Core and Premium platforms (Wellness, Therapeutic Beauty, Emotioneering) across categories, stewarding a long-term platform vision and building a destination portfolio and innovation roadmap.
  • Drive incremental growth of the US business through tailored innovation and communications, aligned to SASSY principles (Science, Aesthetics, Sensorial, Said by Others, Young Spirited).
  • Build and scale premium brand propositions that challenge existing formats and benefits, including innovation and incubation models within male personal care.
  • Develop community-first engagement strategies that embed the brand in culture, driving fame, relevance, and brand love.
  • Lead deep consumer and cultural insight development to fuel innovation, communications, and brand growth initiatives.
  • Develop and evolve Brand Experience Territories (BETs), shifting toward a more social-first, data-informed marketing model.
  • Strengthen team capability across innovation, premiumization, and social-first content development, building a strong external partner ecosystem to deliver high creative standards.
  • Localize and adapt US-developed brand platforms for key design markets outside the US, including Brazil (current focus) and potential expansion into the UK.
  • Define and steward the long-term brand architecture across Latin America, Europe, and Asia.

Required Qualifications

  • 14+ years of marketing experience, ideally in Beauty & Personal Care, with strong expertise in brand building, equity development, and innovation leadership.
  • Proven experience leading complex, multi-market brand agendas and delivering business results in competitive categories.
  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate long-term vision into clear, executable plans.
  • Deep consumer understanding with a track record of building insight-led innovation and communication platforms.
  • Experience leading 360° brand campaigns and integrated communication strategies.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, influencing senior global and regional partners across functions and geographies.
  • Experience managing agency partners and external creative ecosystems.
  • Proven people leadership experience, including building, coaching, and developing high-performing teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in premium or prestige positioning within Beauty & Personal Care.
  • Exposure to social-first, culturally driven marketing approaches and community-led brand building.
  • Experience working across multiple regions or global brand roles.
  • Strong interest or passion for male grooming and evolving consumer definitions of masculinity and self-care.
  • Experience with innovation incubation models or test-and-learn product development approaches.
