  • Lead initiatives that directly impact employee safety, environmental sustainability, and operational excellence.
  • Partner with senior leaders to influence strategy and drive lasting cultural change.
  • Own high-visibility projects that deliver measurable business and operational results.
  • Develop expertise across safety, environmental compliance, process safety management, and World Class Manufacturing (WCM).
  • Join an organization committed to investing in talent, leadership development, and long-term career growth.

Job Purpose

Influence Culture & Leadership

  • Partner with site leadership to embed safety ownership into daily operations.
  • Championing a culture where safety is everyone's responsibility and continuous improvement is celebrated.
  • Coach, mentor, and influence employees and leaders at all levels to adopt safe behaviors and practices.

Lead Strategic Improvement Initiatives

  • Support and advance World Class Manufacturing (WCM) through leadership of Safety and Environmental Pillar activities.
  • Drive implementation of Unilever's global SHE and Process Safety Management (PSM) programs.
  • Lead cross-functional projects that improve compliance, operational performance, and sustainability outcomes.

Ensure Compliance & Risk Management

  • Maintain adherence to OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements while ensuring alignment with Unilever global standards.
  • Partner with Occupational Health teams to proactively identify and mitigate workplace health risks.
  • Support site readiness through audits, inspections, training, and continuous process improvements.

Developing People & Capability

  • Assess training needs and help build the safety knowledge and capability of the entire workforce.
  • Deliver engaging training and coaching that empowers individuals and teams to excel.
  • Foster a learning culture where employees are equipped to identify and prevent risks before incidents occur.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably within a STEM related field or Occupational Health & Safety.
  • 3-5+ years of Safety, Environmental, EHS, SHE, or related experience within manufacturing, industrial, or operational environments.
  • Strong working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and environmental, health, and safety regulations.
  • Experience conducting risk assessments, audits, incident investigations, and corrective action implementation.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive change across diverse teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Process Safety Management (PSM).
