Join us as Global Dove Hair & Skin Care Director – LATAM

Job Purpose

This position entails working on one of Unilever’s most iconic and largest global brands – Dove.  

A culturally relevant, dynamic and fast-growing brand, loved by millions of consumers worldwide for both its superior products and its commitment to Real Beauty, building body confidence of women and the next generation.

As a Masterbrand, Dove is present in 4 categories: Skin Cleansing, Deodorants, Hair Care and Skin Care.

Hair Care and Skin Care are led through Beauty & Wellbeing division, where Dove represents a leading Power brand.

This Director role is an exciting opportunity to drive leadership of Dove B&W agenda at both LATAM and global level.

Key responsibilities:

This Global Director Dove position will be in charge of:

Leading the agenda for Dove Hair and Skin in LATAM, including:

  • Defining Brand Growth Plan by country (Growth Model, Innovation Strategy & Brand Architecture, Consumer engagement model)
  • Adapting Global projects and fully crafting all dedicated Innovation Projects for this region, delivering best-in-class, disruptive, Consumer and Customer relevant mixes.

Designing Global Brand agenda for Dove Body Skin Care, including:

  • Defining Global Brand Vision and Strategy for Body Care category
  • Designing Global Innovation Strategy, Roadmap and Architecture, while leading crafting of all global innovation mixes
  • Crafting Body Skin Care equity agenda, Communication model and Global Assets creation

To achieve these, this Global Brand Director role will lead a team of multiple Brand Managers and ABMs based in Brazil and Argentina, partner very closely with each BU and lead a team of cross-functional partners (R&D, SC, Finance…).

This role will report directly to Dove Global Brand Lead.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • +12 - 15 years in Marketing with experience in Beauty or Personal Care.
  • Previous experience with Brand Communication and Innovation development.
  • Deep Knowledge of LATAM markets, including understanding of retail landscape, customer dynamics, media landscape and how to win in the marketplace. Additional experience in Local / Performance role is a Plus.
  • Strategic Storytelling ability, knowing how to spot issues, frame them in a simple way and engage your audience on addressing these in disruptive, compelling way.
  • Passion for Beauty & Excellence in crafting, with proven experience in crafting irresistible customer and consumer relevant propositions.
  • Ability to lead and inspire bold creative work, with proven record in creating multi-channel distinctive engagement experiences.
