Background & Purpose of the Job

Loblaws strategic customer for the Unilever Deodorants and Body Lotion portfolio and a critical driver of growth. As a Joint Business Planning partner in Total Health and Beauty , this role will help shape and deliver the 1-3 growth agenda with meaningful impact on category performance, customer results, and broader business unit goals.

Who You Are & What You’ll Do

In this Key Account Management role, you will lead Unilever’s Deodorants and Body Lotion business with Loblaw, driving growth, strengthening execution, and shaping the future go-to-market strategy for one of Unilever Canada’s most important customer partnerships.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead shipment and trade spend forecasting for Loblaws, actively managing the annual plan to deliver turnover, trade spend, gross margin, and overall P&L targets. The Loblaw plan is shared with a colleague (KAM) who will manage the SDM portion of the plan.
• Own the delivery of Loblaw Deodorants programs, adapting plans as needed to deliver sales and market share targets
• Lead the customer relationship with Loblaws Category Directors and merchants across Deodorants and Hand and Body Lotion, building trusted partnerships that unlock growth;
• Develop, negotiate, and execute promotional and display plans that align with Loblaws framework and Unilever’s pricing and promotional strategy.
• Secure and expand distribution by selling in innovation and influencing Loblaw POG decisions.
• Be available and responsive, supporting all daily operational needs.
• Lead the development of annual Joint Business Plans , integrating brand strategy, category management, and shopper insight
• Unilever hybrid work policy includes mandatory 3x day a week work from head office (located at 160 Bloor St E, Toronto ON).

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• 3–5 years of relevant CPG experience
• Bachelor’s degree required; business specialization preferred
• Proven track record of driving business results through sales and/or marketing, with strong understanding of both product and customer P&Ls and trade spend management
• Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
• Prior Account Management experience
• High level of ownership, independence, and bias for action
• Strong analytical capability, with the ability to draw insights from multiple data sources to inform decisions
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams

Please note that all successful applicants will be responsible for their own relocation (travel costs, housing etc.).

Pay: The pay range for this position is $84,900-$100,000. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs. 

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible. 

Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
