JOB PURPOSE

The Technical Operator is responsible for executing line operations, implementing cleaning regimes, and performing basic maintenance activities to ensure the safe delivery of high-quality packed products. As a key member of the operations team, the Technical Operator plays a critical role in maintaining machine safety, promptly identifying abnormalities, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires strong technical expertise in packaging machinery, proven experience in FMCG food production, and a solid understanding of preventive maintenance, safety, and quality compliance standards.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Equipment Operation: Operate, control, and monitor specialized machinery and computer-controlled systems.

• Setup & Configuration: Perform setup, calibration, and adjustments to meet production requirements.

• Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Detect and resolve deviations, malfunctions, or technical issues.

• Quality Assurance: Conduct checks to ensure products meet standards and specifications.

• Preventive Maintenance: Carry out routine inspections, lubrication, and minor repairs.

• Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment.

• Data Management: Record operational and maintenance data, generate reports, and maintain records.

• Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, supervisors, and technical teams to optimize performance.

• Training & Development: Continuously update technical knowledge and adapt to new technologies.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum OND in Science/Engineering-related fields

• 1–2 years in FMCG Manufacturing, preferably packaging

• PLCs, pneumatics, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance

• Problem-solving, teamwork, adaptability, communication

• Proven record in improving OEE and reducing downtime
